Hi RT people,
It has been a very busy summer so I haven't had much time for the computer.from chewing on it

I put some hose over some wire that the rabbit would catch on, and I don't want her to chew it, is there some way to prevent her from chewing on it?

Thanks in advance

If it is rubber hose, the rabbits may not bother with it. I have never had them chew on the rubber bowls we sometimes use for water in winter. If they do start chewing on it, there is a product available in pet shops that has a bitter apple flavour. It is used to prevent pets from chewing on things. Might be worth a try.

Thank you,
It is kind of like a garden hose.
She didn't chew on it last night so I'm hoping she doesn't chew it at all.

If you give her a nice fresh branch of a safe tree with the bark on it, she will be too busy enjoying chewing on it to bother with the hose. Apple, willow, sycamore, maple, mulberry, poplar and elm are all good choices.

what maggie said - protect what can't be chewed but provide healthy alternatives too :)
