My hubby recently picked up some new bunnies. One has stool that is flat and squishy. Do I need to look out? Does it sound like just stress? Change in diet? We have only had her about 3 days.

Just keep an eye on the rabbit. Chances are it is just stress or perhaps you are seeing the soft, cecal droppings. Rabbits usually consume these before you can see them, but occasionally they leave them in the cage. They are softer, clump together sort of like semi-melted glossette raisins, and tend to have a stronger odour. Feeding grass hay can't hurt and can help to head off problems, if there are any brewing.

Yanni,
feed the rabbit plenty of fresh grass-hay.
Also some rolled oats the old fashioned kind.
This is great fiber and should tighten up the stools.
Do not feed any veggies or fruits, these will cause loose stools.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:
