I was wondering what the recommended nesting box size would be for a large rabbit including height. The box will be in an unheated stall, so it can't be too big so it holds the heat for the bunnies, but not so small that the are being trampled and cramped.

All my Nestboxes are built:
Two inches longer and two inches wider
than the Doe they are being used for.
They are all ten inches high,
the front has a 4inch piece to allow easy access for the Dam.
Never build the nestbox larger than the door!

10x16" give or take 2" on either dimension seems to be the standard "large" box size that I found on websites and in supply catalogs. Some sites will actually call that medium and the ones sized for flemish giants as large. I forget exactly what we settled on for the d'argent which are around 8-9lbs. I'd have to go measure them.
