my rabbit tipsy is a holland lop and she normally has one ear up and the other down. i heard that it is bad for lops to have their ears up. will this harm tipsy?
I think what they probably mean by "bad" is that it is a fault that will disqualify the rabbit at rabbit shows because it violates the breed standard for lops. I see no way that this could affect the rabbit's health and well-being. A lot of rabbits have one ear up and one down. Definitely a cute look.
It is a very cute look. We have a litter that is the product of a minilop and a Flemish giant cross. Most of the litter can be found with one ear up and one ear down at any given time, and it is very funny.
