The last couple of days my dog was just begging me to do something about the heat, so I shaved him for the first time in nine years.

And, this is the first time in, hmmm, forever, that he is not lying on the floor tiles. I remember all of the times I wanted to snuggle with him on the couch and he refused it.. :roll:

Oh, ha ha! That's adorable. I love the shave, your pup must be so happy.

We are working on keep our animals from overheating too! Thankfully, this week it has just been in the 80s and 90s. Last month's upper 90 and 100+ temps were rough!

Even though we are having around 30 degrees, the red male is thrilled about his new company of two females (because of the litters, he was all alone till now) and he is constantly cuddling with them
