Hello-

I havent changed any settings that I know about, but Rabbit Talk is now nearly too small for me to read. this posting screen is barely grey on white, and hurts to even think about.

I dont want to quit coming here, but its tiny and makes my head hurt. is there anything that I can do?

Most text is a bout 8 size font to me. headachy.

Take Care,
Kelli

Garnet Mouth,
hold your Ctrl key and scroll with the wheel on your mouse.
it will make the print larger or smaller depending on
which direction you roll the wheel.

Don't leave us, Garnetmoth! :(

What browser do you use?

In Firefox, when my eyes start to ache, I increase the font size by holding down the Control button and scrolling the mouse wheel away from me. Another way is to hold down CONTROL while pressing the + key repeatedly until big enough to be comfortable. To reduce it, use CONTROL and the - key. Other browsers may have other methods, so if that doesn't help, please let us know.

Glad it worked! :bouncy:

My poor old eyes give me problems sometimes, especially in the evenings. MidnightCoder got me a bigger monitor... that helps too!

Control-zero takes it back to normal, too, if it messes up other web pages.

If you go to the top of your browser (I use Firefox), you can choose something like Tools > Options > Content, and set the default font and size there. It won't work where the website specifies the font and size (you can override that one somewhere else). But it will help some places.

Windows 7 includes a wonderful magnifier. Start button > Programs > Accessories > Magnifier. If you do not have Windows 7, you can download Desktop Zoom: http://download.cnet.com/DesktopZoom/3000-2072_4-10496377.html

It's almost as good as the Windows 7 magnifier, but not as smooth. It is highly customizable, though. My mom has macular degeneration, and it works well for her. :) If you need any help with it, let me know.

There will be a new solution for this, and for mobile devices, just as soon as I can find the time to add it here. Good advice all around though.
