So I go out tonight to do the bunnies.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of white on the ground.
first thought was skunk. STOP MOVING!!!
It wasn't a skunk.
It was my favourite of Carrie's litter (colour wise).
OUT???, how is that kit out????
Then I remembered. They are in the cage that I normally put big kits into...it fell out of the hole that I need to fix.
How to catch, we're talking a SMALL mini rex kit, three weeks old and fast (I'm not so fast).
I go about my chores, bunny teases me with coming up and then high-tailing it out of there.
I bring bunnies in for pics and mention to Jim dear that one of carrie's kits escaped.
He OFFERS to come out and see if he can help.
As I was showing off the babies (after giving it up for a lost cause) he says, Hun...hun!!! Behind me is YOU KNOW WHO.
I back up a bit.
Jim (who is a VERY quiet calm fellow) bends down and two handed catchs the little squirmer who almost gets away from him.
Safely in my hands he's returned to his mommy. His escape hole is now blocked.
YEAH for my hubby!!!!
