I do raised beds for my gardens.

growing young trees, cabbages, tomatoes etc

Ann, take some wood and nail (better to screw) together a frame.

Take your wonderful rabbit waste and start dumping it into the gardens.

In the fall, add some dirt on top. Let it sit over the winter.

In the spring you'll be all ready to go. :)

if you do it that way, it makes the job WAY easier.
 
Wonderful pictures! Ours isn't even in the ground yet. The weather is so bad that everyone here is complaining about the late start.
 
build raised beds.... you can get into them a whole lot sooner than you can with conventional beds. They warm up quicker. They also had the negative sideaffect of drying out quicker. SINCE I use peat moss as a odour control it helps to keep them moister. but hot dry summers are hard on raised beds.
