This morning I did a thorough cleaning/overhaul of my rabbitry corner...hooray spring cleaning!!!
However, while cleaning I got bit by like...a million mosquitoes. I watched my buns for a while and didn't see any bugs biting them, but I have to assume the mosquitoes aren't politely ignoring them either. This was never a problem with my basement-based rabbitry...hooray for screen doors. But that's not an option since the cages are in a lean-to outside! Anyone got any advice for deterring the little blood-suckers without using chemicals? I worry that if I start spraying for the darn things, I'll harm the rabbits...especially since that stuff burns if you inhale it! :x
