    PVC rabbit tractor, strong enough?

I would use cages to house the Rabbits and use the tractor for daily exercise. I wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing my animals are on the ground all night. They can be spooked so easily on the ground. I have a friend that had rabbits outside in a tractor made of plywood. He came out to...

    PVC rabbit tractor, strong enough?

use 3 inch pvc or abs pipe as legs to get your cages off the ground. As for the tractor, that sounds like a great idea. I would also use some tent pegs to nail it down to the ground when in use

    ground rabbit meat?

oneacrefarm, have you seen the video we are refering to? There is lots of meat thats great for grinding up into sausage. Go back and review the video. He has the right idea. He wants to save the hind quarters for whatever and use the rest for grinding. Makes perfect sense to me..

    ground rabbit meat?

When we did it his way it took allot longer but as I said earlier you use all the rabbit his way. We were getting a little over 3 pounds of meat doing it that way. so if you did 10 rabbits that 30 pounds throw in another 5 or 6 pounds of pork or beef and you have 35 pounds of sausage or burgers...

    My buck BIT ME!!

Yes wear gloves. Yikes.. the thng with culling a "proven" buck is they are hard to get back. Leather work gloves may be in order. If not you may want to go ahead and cull anyway. Good luck either way you decide to go..I just got bit 3 days ago. It was my buck too. He bit so hard that when I...
