    rabbits feet

My immediate guess would be that she may have sore hocks. A rest pad should help but I have one that I finally had to take out of the wire cage altogether and keep her in one of those plastic bottom house cages toget her feet to finally start healing. Try Vasoline on the sores to keep the skin...

    GAme cameras--

We have an EZ Cam that we got on sale at Big R - our farm store. It works pretty well but this one does flash at night. The flash lets the people know you are serious. It has gotten some great pics of geese in our pond or deer in the yard - not just the butts either! It runs on C batteries.

    Awesome day with OneAcreFarm!

That is really neat! I have learned so much from this board but to add person to person experiences like what you were able to do would be wonderful!

    Price live weight?

What are store prices? We don't have this in our stores. We barely have lamb and ground pork. Never seen rabbit meat in any store either in Kansas or Indiana.

    Dandelions

Hey thanks everyone! No my husband doesn't use anything on the yard. We have 5 acres and a small pond so he doesn't want anything getting into the pond. How much is too much to let a bunny eat at once? I gave them all a handful.

    Dandelions

This may be posted somewhere but I haven't been able to find it so I thought I would just ask. We have tons of dandelions and my husband has been working really hard to get them out of our front yard. I have a huge feed bag full. Has anyone tried to dry them or how could I save them for the...

    Rabbit tetrazzini Easy & good!

OAF - that sounds wonderful too as well as easy! Thanks! You could probably just cook it in the crock pot, debone, shred, and freeze for later dishes like the Tetrazzini and BBQ sandwiches.

We will continue to pray for him. Thanks for keeping us updated on the situation. Glad he is in good spirits, that is more than half the battle right there!

    Hello From Montana

Hello and welcome! What kind of rabbits are you raising? I saw a Californian but not sure what the others are. Our family currently has Polish, Mini Rex, and Thriantas plus one lonely New Zealand.

    my polish plans - bucks

Here is my suggestion...and I am by no means an expert...I personally think I would keep both the solid bucks, Mitch and Rustic. Then I would breed Rustic to Nicky, Jade and Tara and then maybe you will get a really nice colored buck from one of those breedings that you might prefer over Rustic...
