Are these rabbits in separate cages or a colony? If in a colony, separate them. If in separate cages, I would suspect the feed. Check it closely for mold. Although you would think it would effect the does too if it was the feed?? This is a mystery.

I don't usually cook whole rabbit because my husband dislikes eating around all the tiny bones. I use a really sharp boning knife and debone most of my meaties. I grind the meat up in my food processor and use it to make fried or grilled patties for burgers, breakfast sausage, chile, tacos, etc...

There's not enough ventilation in an enclosed garage. The smell would build up and be horrendous, or your life would be spent cleaning up after them - daily - and then you would end up putting them outside anyway to preserve your sanity. Don't ask me how I know.
