    Irresponsible Buyer

Mini...that's because most have no clue or they assume your honest. Neither is a good; I'm not saying any one is bad but I have been burned by trusting and not looking myself. I do not plan to market "pet" rabbits when I do have some thing. Unfortunately, it is no longer safe to imo. IF some...

    Irresponsible Buyer

I would offer my apologies but point out that no animal should ever be left in the car alone, many things can happen. Maybe the rabbit freaked out and accident occurred, maybe it was the temp, maybe it was an air issue....I would *not* sell or give her another one. I would upon return of the...

    Scratched. Claws or cage wire?

Did you have more than one rabbit together? Looks like some one got into a bit of a tussle. Can happen. Doesn't look like wire or some thing else after bun.

Has anyone had a pregnant cat before?

None of my cats ever had morning sickness but as already said various... Being on a farm, drop offs a plenty, and growing up mom "didn't have the money to waste" on getting a cat fixed..so we always had kittens growing up. Most time no issues, very few have problems. I had 1 cat that I can...

    Thoughts on suppressing suspected pasturella

alforddm is very right. Asymptomatic rabbits may never again show signs or could when stressed, but they can pass it on to others and cause a whole host of trouble. I will not treat or try to treat because it is too risky, any thing that does what that doe has done would be gone yesterday...

    PUPPIES...pic heavy

It really varies. What's worked for me I know wouldn't work with some others. I have friends that have never completely house broken theirs. Their dad and the pups are my only ones even though my aunt n uncle had a mid content for 14+ years, she was a rescue that people couldn't handle her...

    PUPPIES...pic heavy

Yeah very low, they are adorable. The older they get, the more their colors shine. The red smaller male is actually the trouble maker, 3am he starts the howling of all hours...every one else joins in of course lol. I am *hoping* still the wolf has very very very lil influence but can see...

    PUPPIES...pic heavy

So I had thought about having some aussies, decided to forgo and not have any...then she decides to escape to my low content wolfdog...ugh All happy and healthy, just bothers me. Being extra cautious and happy at the same time is draining but wanted to share. No bunnies lately, lost 2 old...

2 new bunnies wet noses eye discharge should i be worried?

I have never had any prone to allergies, even my first ones. The only rabbits I've had with "allergies" was Mini Rex from questionable heritage which I promptly got rid of. Allergies (if that's what it is) you do not want in any breeding program any way and individuals showing signs of such...

An opinion on Netherland Dwarf kits?

Measure ears. Any thing near 2.5" inches don't keep. The max per SOP is just that, 2.5". Cut out for any other immediate dqs and severe faults. Thin long bone, thin heads that aren't wide. Check for narrow/pinched hindquarters and chests. I have a feeling most will weed themselves out...

Grow outs dying for no aparent reason.

Could it be some kind of mold? I never had any luck with misting systems, very short try here for hot summer but it gave me too many problems with my asthma as it made mold grow like wild fire (mold/mildew sends me into terrible fits). It was a mister system for a green house though, don't...

    False Dwarf

Looks like a typical pet here, dwarf. The head is not as rounded as a show dwarf would be though. Cute pet :) Ears are small and body's proportionate, nothing that screams false dwarf to me. But how old? If this is a youngster (3 months to 5 months), then probably is. For clarification, I...

    False Dwarf

False dwarfs are much bigger, talking 2+ pounds bigger. They are also different in looks. Do you have a picture? I doubt the one you have is a false dwarf, just a larger dwarf. Sizes can range greatly even with "true" dwarfs.

    Aquisition: Rex

Lowstorm, I wasn't even looking at pee stains ;). Stains happen, but the one has quit a bit of poo stuck to their feet in the picture and the overall patchy fur is a concern. I know from molts, some look like you started shaving one end and stopped half thru but this doesn't appear that way...

Cute..but yeah, no ML in those buns. IF it is, they are many many many generations away and were not fair breed examples. CUTE pets though!
