    Can rabbits eat silage?

Silage is a fermented plant (grass, corn, cabbage..). Haylage is silage with less than 10% of moisture. Mowed gras with a landmower is not a good thing to make silage from (or feed it to the rabbits) - it better that you let it grow for a month or two and than cut them daily for fresh forage...

How to break the flipping over the bowl habit?

When I have a couple of growouts and planning of keeping one or two, is a big factor how they behave towards bowls/hayracks, etc. The ones that drink from a bowl and just eat the hay are keepers, even they are not the biggest.

Ok, we came to the diagnosis - GOLPP. Polyneuropathy, laryngeal paralysis, disfunctional ezofagus. Any experiences with this, maybe?

    Raw Feeding of a Pack

My dogs also don`t like the fur, I think that they associate fur with live animal. Once I tricked them to eat something with fur and end up with gross, slimmy furballs..never again ;)

So, which is the right answer?

I would really like to read this studies, since manipulation with results can be a big option. I would understand if the doe would be streesed with her litter near, but how is the litter stressed if the mom is around? I believe that mum is a great role model and it teaches them what is life -...

    Degenerative mielopathy? GOLPP!

Can you tell me more? I feed him kinda mixed diet, a week of kibbles, a week raw (whole pray) and a week of cooked (meat, veggies, carbs). He really likes ruminant stomachs, but I believe that in research with foxhounds the condition was caused from unbalanced diet and not just because they ate...

    Degenerative mielopathy? GOLPP!

Anybody has any experiences with this? We are in an initial stages of "diagnosis" (officialy it can be diagnosed only with autopsy :( ), CT with myelogram is perfect for a 10 year old, so we send urine and blood samples to Laboklin to determined whether he has the gene or not. Wobbly back...

URGENT! Rabbit with Abnormal Heart Beating; Help?

How was her breathing during the cold front? Maybe she just have really hard time coping with the heat and you could try moving her in a cooler place to see if she gets better. If she improves you could have her as a pet, but otherwise it would be cruel to let her suffer. Sorry :( Nika, I...

Wow, that`s the video I˙ve been looking for and couldn˙t find it anywhere  I wanted to show my "butcher" the tail trick as I call it, since he was having a hard time getting the last bit of intestines (anus with a few poops :D ) out and I didn`t know excatly how it is done. Thank you...

    Raw feeding (dog) questions...

Problem with great shepherds is that through the evolution they weren`t really accustomed to high quantity of meat and often their digestive tract doesn˙t do well with exclusevly meat diet (in fact, that goes for all dogs, but shepherds really stand out). On the other hand, you can`t really go...

Does living (and maybe kindling) together?

I had great luck with sister-sister or sister-mother living together. They were separated during kindling and nursing, but other than that they shared colony or outdoor pen. It went extremly well until they were always "on-sight" - a month of out-of-sight living in different places and they were...
