Nope kindled 12 all over cage. No survivors. Happened with two rabbits on there second litter after they had good first litters. Wondering why they stopped using nesting boxes

I have two does that had a perfect first litter. Now on there second litter they both built a great nest in box and layed on wire. Any suggestions would be great.

I have heard varying opinions on this. I know a rabbit has two horns to the uterus. Is it true that a bred rabbit can be bred again a few weeks later, causing serious complications to the kindling. Thank you for your reply.

How long do does produce mik once rebred.

Thanks for the reply that was pretty much my plan, rebreed at 5 weeks. I will breed some and butcher some. But either way they should be ready to be separated at 8 weeks correct? Also they are 2 weeks old and dont seem to be using nesting box anymore. Is it time to pull it?

What is the beat time to rebreed doe and how are kits weaned? Thanks much

Seems like doe is seperating and eating the weakest. Will this stop. There will always be a weak kit

Checked them this morning down to 7, and 2 are not looking good is there anything I can do to help. The other 5 look great full bellies

Kindled yesterday early morning 10 in litter 2 doa. Doe pulls a lot of hair and checks on them alot. How often should we take them out of nest to check them. Any other advice would be great..should we give them any other supplements. Thank for advice

First off thank you all very much for your advice. My newzealand had 10 in her first litter 2 doa. I can see difference in appearance now, kits are 2 days old, should I mark them to know or wait until they are more developed. Also when you say show it would be all county fair, FFA showing
