I had put alot of extra hay in her cage along with what I had in the nest box. Hmmmm....... maybe it was really tasty to her. But so far babies are doing really good and growing fast! Have to figure out how to put pics on here for you all to see.
Again, Thank you so much for all of your...
Thanks for all of your help! I appreciate it!
Whatever was wrong put him down pretty fast. He passed away a little while ago. Did not appear to be in pain and just mainly layed on his stomach up until the end he stretched out and died.
Thanks for the links! I will be sure to look at them...
What I mean by his system is shutting down is that he appears to be dying. That's normally what happens with any animal that we have had. They go into this mode and there seems to be nothing to bring them out of it then they die.
No grinding teeth as fa as I can tell. Haven't seen any droppings...
Wondering if you all could help me out. I just saw that my new zealand buck kit (4 months old) appears to have dried blood around his anus??? He's acting like his system is shutting down already and I have no clue what is going on! All I come across on the web is to take him to the vet to find...
Would they be Rex's? I have some Standard and Mini Rex that had castor babies start out as the same color. But like SableSteel said, give it some more time to see what you have. It's hard to wait but afterward it's worth it! :)

Thanks everyone!
Olafthebunny, She was a new Zealand white-Champagne D'Argent mix. I had her since the day she was born. I was hoping to use her as a breeder but that's not happening now.
I did check around the cages and could only come to the conclusion that maybe she got her toes caught...
Thanks ButtonsPalace! It was hard to lose her. I'm so glad that she's not suffering though! Looks like I'll have some new babies in the morning. Really looking forward to that!
Thanks to everyone for their replies!
I don't know how she broke her legs. all I know is she was ok the night before, hopping around and happy then the next morning she wasn't getting up even though she tried at least once.
Maggie J, The way I figured out how her legs were broken was...
Hi everyone,
This morning I found that one of my young does had somehow broke both of her back legs. I did some research but all I am getting for options is the vet, Trying to help her myself, or to put her down. What do I do? She doesn't appear to be in pain, Gave her some greens and she...
