So how many do you put into the 6'x30" cage? Just one litter? How many feeders do you have? If I took the bucks out and left the does in with the mother doe, could she still have another litter with the previous litter still with her? Do you aim for weight or age? What weight do you usually see?

I wasn't sure about the age either, I'm still pretty new to this. I'm not sure if around 10 weeks is good? Any suggestions on that would be greatly appreciated too. The cages are 2ftx2ft, mostly Nzw and Cali.

I was wondering how others go about caging the kits after they are weaned. How many can you keep together and how long can you keep them together? Thanks.

These rabbits were weaned at 4-5 weeks and I have not made any changes to the way I am feeding them, since they could eat on their own they have been eating the vegetable scraps which is mostly carrot peels and a few celery leaves here and there. If it happens again I will open one up and post...

Okay, I didn't notice any diarrhea, should I not be giving them vegetable scraps along with the pellets? I have been ever since they could eat on their own. They are not with the doe. I'll search around on the forum some more. Thanks

If your looking for a cheaper or more local route, if you get some vinyl house siding trim from the hardware store, it comes in a 10 or 12 for piece for a few bucks. Then just cut it to the length you need and snap it in place. Seems pretty durable. Just a suggestion.

It's just like the video but slower. I will see if I can video it also. I'm pretty sure he's always done it even before he had ear mites and I started putting the oil/vinegar in his ears. Should I be using something else? It's what I've used on all my animals when they get ear mites. Seems...

It's pretty slow just slow weaving back and forth. Seems like he might be scanning. I think he does it wheneed the ear mites are gone but I dont know if I have ever completely killed all the mites. I'll keep treating the mites, he seems to perform well. Thanks for the info.

Yes both of my bucks have had ear mites off and on, for some reason the does don't seem to get them. I have been treating his ears with mineral oil mixed with apple cider vinegar.
