Her eye has not crusted or sealed shut since I've used the ointment on her. I've applyed it only twice so far and the skin around her eye is already healthier. Her ears are much cleaner but I still had to clean quite a bit out yesterday.
Second dose of ivermectin is soon so the ears should keep...
If he's not drinking or eating, you need a vet asap otherwise they'll die withing a few days or less. Snot can be from a few sources but most worrysome would be a respiratory infection, for wich without antibiotic there is not much you can do agaisnt.
You can try giving them a few treats to try...
She's a cage bunny, I have 20 rabbits so I can't have em free roam sadly. In my room I have 4 of mine plus her now. The rest are in my rabbitry outside.
This bunny is used to to wood chips...... I HATE wood chips! I despise the stuff. Hate the smell, hate the mess, hate the health risks and...
Thanks all of you.
Terramycin is what I was looking for, but it sadly probably needs a vet prescription for it here, but I checked ingredients and the triple antibiotic polysporin has polymyxin B in it so I'm gonna try that for her.
I am aware of using oils for the ears; mineral or baby oil...
Hi, I am currently bunnysitting for a friend. Having so many bunnies myself, Ive dealth with some eye infections especially on baby bunnies, but my friend's bunny has a really bad one. She also has a ear infection on the same side. This bunny is 10 years old and I certainly dont have the money...
I'd been thinking allergies myself since no treatments had any effect. Might be something in my hay bales. My bunnies are all treated against parasites and her teeth are fine I check everybunny every few months.
Has for vet visit, that's a big nope. Bunny vets are ridiculously expensive over...
I use pour on for cattle ivermectin. I give 0.1ml (same as cc) per pound (lb) of rabbit. When giving it to my rabbits I give one half of the dose inside each each. I put it in the ears cause it's the safest, unlike cats, bunnies can reach high on their neck to clean themselves and their skin is...
Hi, been a while since I posted on here.
One of my rabbits has been crying from both her eyes for over a year now. Ive been watching her eyes like a hawk this whole time but her eyes were always clear and so I didn't understand why she was crying all the time. I've done eyedrops but it never...
Looks like an uneaten placenta, did you touch it? what was it like?
I've seen miscarried fetus of about 2 weeks in my friend's herd cause she left the male in too long and the doe got overly stressed. Even at 2 weeks it looked fetus like aka animal shaped ish. Placentas look like that and feel...
- a doe that kills her litter 3 times in a row, I dont mean freak accident, I mean thrown out of the nest, unfed or eaten
- any baby that shows serious behavior issues early. Dont wanna sell those as pets and give people trouble on purpose
- babies that show signs of being far weaker and...
I feel rly bad for your bunnies, not your fault at all but its just horrible what they've suffered. Good thing you're not eating em, could be a health hazard if you did.
I'd rather not try either to be honest, birds are alien to me so I'm not comfortable with the idea much. Ducks seemed like they would at least provide some advantages compared to chickens. If we ever end up getting either it'll be my dad's fault and I honestly don't look forward to it. I prefer...
Hard to tell what exacly that was since the picture is a bit too small on my screen. I've never seen a fluke either but trust your judgement, throw away anything you feel isnt looking right.
I keep telling my father he'd have to be the one handling them every time he mentions getting chickens. I'm not interrested at all in chickens and I'm convinced ducks would be better suited for us. Ducks eat garden slugs and wouldnt dig up his garden so they'd be a big help for his crops. They...
