other than white to tan with what would it be?
If you were going to do make items like a throw or mittens what would you choose? My buddy who's big into taxidermy and I were talking and it came up in discussion. Thought I'd throw it out there to see what everybody else thinks.
Would also be curious to get a weigh the bones and organ meat from both breeds. There could be differences in bone density and other factors which might be part of the weight differences or attributing to rate of muscle development.
Crazy idea but what if you used a submersible aquarium heater set on a low temperature to keep the pickling solution warm and working? Just thinking out loud here.....
Check Habitat For Humanity. They sell individual 12"x12" ceramic tiles for 50 cents a tile at the one near me. Would be perfect for what your after.
Great pics by the way
Are the parents of the 2 that bred outcrosses? If so I wouldn't worry too much about what you produce. Even if they are not its a tight breeding as MSD said you could get something really nice out of it. If you get something you really want to keep then take that one to an unrelated rabbit...
So your saying instead I should have multiple smaller cages instead of one REALLY long cage? I figured they'd have more room that way & less stressed....?
I've been reading a lot on here so I wanted some thoughts from people on here on what I'm thinking about.
We hope to be closing on our house the end of the month so I hope to be working on my set up soon. I want to have a good solid plan in place and want some experienced folks to bounce...
It should soften the meat. Your getting the internal temperature up to 240*F so the food items are safe for consumption.
Morimoto fan here too :D
forgot to add MSD clear out some pantry space your going to start using that more and and more. Canning junkie here too. Just wait till you...
That should give you something to work towards. The only difference should literally be color if its all the same breed. But if blindfolded you shouldn't be able to tell the difference between red, black, broken or REW.
What about black walnut? Anybody have issues with rabbits chewing on that and causing an issue? I found this http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/1000/1148.html if given scraps of it to chew on. Just thinking out loud for possible toxins
