My NZW Doe was due to have kits a few days ago and her stomach was very big and I was excited!. So, a couple of days before she was to have the kits I threw in a bunch of hay and a box. She, as usual started to grab hay in her mouth and put in the box, this would have been the 29th day. I put a...

    Ear Mites... My turn

I use WD-40. I have used it off and on for years. Really nice now that it comes with a straw. I know some people are going to say that "it's bad for Rabbits" but I have used it off and on for 25 years with no harmful effects. When you first detect them spray a short spray inside the ears, then...

Lost a litter of 9 NZ kits!

One of my NZ does had kits last nite, she had 9 kits. Went out this morning to see if she had them. I noticed I didn't see any of the fur moving? There were no babies in the Fur, I reached down to the front of the box on the inside and found them they were all dead. Last nite the temps got down...

I have a Breeding Question please.

Yes, I did! Mike Fulton, is a real nice owner and operator of Crossroads Rabbitry! If some of you have never seen his operation, it is a sight to behold.. I have never seen so many Rabbits in my life. I could have called Mike, but I figured y'all would know just as well. Thanks to everyone who...

I have a Breeding Question please.

I have 2 NZW Does and 1 NZW Buck....I bought them from a Commercial Breeder this Spring when they were 12 weeks old (they are 8 months old now). I have been told and read where some Rabbit people say, if you don't breed them by 6 months old they will never breed or you will have a hard time...
