    Doe not interested in breeding!

UFCreel I'm gonna give this a try a few more times, I've tried holding her still in his cage and lifting up her bum and he'd mount but no fall offs so I'm not sure if it was successful. Have you had them bred successfully this way with no fall offs? -- Thu Dec 14, 2017 4:15 pm -- I tried...

    Doe not interested in breeding!

Hi, I have a 1 year old english angora doe, she has had one litter before I had her. When I place her in a buck's cage she hides and whines EVERY SINGLE TIME! She never appears to lift for him, although he still goes at it multiple times. I have done this with her numerous times, even when...

I read that it was possible to get an idea of a kits sex if done around 4 to 5 days old. Anyone know anything about this? I found a thread with pics on it but still couldn't tell. Let me know what ya think! -- Tue Nov 21, 2017 4:38 pm -- Here's the other kit. The thread I read said...

    Fed vs. Unfed Kit Pictures

Thanks for the reply! By morning it will have been about 48 hours since birth. I did happen to take a look at the thread that you referred to. About an hour and half ago I brought the momma bunny and kits in nest inside to an indoor pen, I held mom in my lap and had the husband assist the thin...

    Fed vs. Unfed Kit Pictures

Thanks for the pictures, very helpful. So, my bunny had two kits a little bit over 24 hours ago, I keep taking a look at them and only 1 appears to have the round belly the other has a slimmer belly similar to the ones in your pics. I did weigh them both after and there is a difference in...

Do you by any chance know how much parsley is too much? And I am trying to be patient, but it's so hard! :x lol

Doe is 32 days pregnant...no kindling yet....

Yep, I feel at least 2 kits inside, kicking and wiggling about. And yes I'd be ready for another set of babies in 31 days if she got pregnant again ;) I have a huge list of people wanting one of her babies! Do you know how much parsley she can have? I unfortunately could not find any...

Doe is 32 days pregnant...no kindling yet....

Hello, was just wondering what other suggestions people had to help move things along. My doe is now almost 33 days along and I have given her parsley today(how much can she have in a day???) and let the buck sit with her a while and mount her a couple times, she has also drank some water with...

Does the male have to "fall off?"

I was wondering the same thing, they are in a large outdoor hutch and it is too cold outside so I can't shave them down until Spring, but was wondering if I should just shave up her bottom area. Anyone have Angoras and do this?

Does the male have to "fall off?"

Thank you for the feedback! It is quite hard for me to tell whether or not she is actually lifting her back end, she is an English Angora and super fluffy. I do know that she is lifting her tail though.
