Flax seed gave my rabbits loose stools.. Help!

Thank you! I'll reduce the amount of flax. I've been feeding black oil sunflower seeds for a while now and haven't noticed a difference.

Flax seed gave my rabbits loose stools.. Help!

Thanks! So is the amount of flax I'm giving them ok and I just made a mistake when I added it to empty food dishes, or do I need to reduce the amount of flax in their feed?

Flax seed gave my rabbits loose stools.. Help!

Hey all! I raise and breed Netherland Dwarfs for show. I began feeding them about 1/2 teaspoon of flax seed yesterday evening for its health and conditioning benefits, and I made the mistake of placing it in their mostly empty food dishes in the evening. This morning, at least two of our rabbits...

    Vent disease? Hutch burn? Help!

Thank you. I checked her vent for white spots when I bought her and saw no sign of them. I checked her regularly when I though she was pregnant and all seemed normal. Now she just has these yellow crusts surrounding her vent. Could it have something to do with reabsorbing a litter or something...

    Vent disease? Hutch burn? Help!

So, a couple weeks ago, I bought what was supposed to be a bred doe from a nearby breeder who was selling out her stock. Ripley is a beautiful little Netherland Dwarf brood doe with a great pedigree. Her due date (May 1st) came and went. On May 4th, I placed her in with my buck and let him breed...

    Proven doe overdue... Mucus plug?

Well, I used to breed Flemish Giants, so although I'm experienced at palpating, it's been years and I'm not experienced at palpating tiny rabbits, haha. IF she's pregnant, it's only with a couple of kits. I definitely feel something in there, but as I said it could be some sort of organ low in...

    Proven doe overdue... Mucus plug?

When palpating I feel what I could swear is a couple of kits, but I'm just not certain. They are somewhat hard, oblong lumps. Yesterday we put her in with the buck and they mated like ten times, she lifted and seemed eager to be bred. But it apparently didn't induce labor. Now I'm worried that...

    Proven doe overdue... Mucus plug?

As far as I understood from the breeder, May 1st was day 31. She's acting normally except for being very grouchy and digging most of her food out of her bowl and drinking a ton of water. It feels like I feel one or two kits in her lower abdomen, but it could be organs or something I guess?

    Proven doe overdue... Mucus plug?

Hello everyone! A week ago we bought a bred Netherland Dwarf doe who was due on May 1st. On the morning of May 1st, we found her carrying around mouthfulls of hay.. then nothing. I -think- I feel kits in her stomach, but I'm not sure. Today I have her some fenugreek to hopefully get things...
