What To Do About Weights On Pedigrees?!

Demamma, With a raffle rabbit if you do not know the breeder or get to speak with them tossing the pedigree is a good idea, especially when it's missing so much info.

What To Do About Weights On Pedigrees?!

If I forgot to put in a weight & realized later, even if I no longer had the rabbit I could usually go back & put it in if I knew about what it was. I wouldn't put one in for a rabbit I've never seen or weighed before though.

    I Has a Lop Question

When I raised mini lops after they got big enough to run around I massaged their ears and crowns. That helped kits ears if they didn't want to lop.

I am actually quite sure that papa is a flemish, the pic looks a bit blurry not rex fur. I think he is a sandy flemish giant, I raised them for a few years.

Rex Colours for a new person in the breed

I had a tricolor and castor breeding pair of mini rex. They threw many varieties, mostly tris, but I had very few instances where the kits were unshowable. example colors thrown: tricolor, castor, black, opal, broken black, broken castor, & harlequin. Harlequin were the only kits I got that were...

Any market for a grand champion biter?

phillinley Oh Yeah they take up a lot of room. I had a 4'x4'x4' cage for my doe, the bucks was a little smaller. Food biters are the worst, my sisters Polish were just plain aggressive. I have only had one bite in the cage he only did it rarely. Good luck with your buck :)

    mini rex color

This is a harlequin mini rex. I have attaches a pisture of a tricolor. Tricolor come in the combination of black & red, Lilac & Fawn, Chocolate & Orange, or Blue & Fawn with a white base. Just like any broken, tri's must have between 10% and 50% color. I bred mini rex for 8 years. Tricolor were...

Any market for a grand champion biter?

I would love to have him, but as I am currently taking a break for college, I cannot :( He is small for a flemish though, well the Flemish I have bought and bred. I had a 26 pound doe that loved to bite when carried or held, but great show rabbit grand or reserved every show I took her to.

    Flemish Giant Buck w/ dewlap

All my flemish bucks had smaller dewlaps, this is because of the breeds large size and body type. I have shown them and done very well. Not a DQ, no worries :D
