That is my worry with my does.. I don't mind heavy feeding my babies... I do have them on colony, so they get a good deal of exercise. (my one rabbit that isn't on colony is a lot fatter)

So, we are starting to see our thermostat raise more and more, and in the next month I expect to be battling the 90-105 spikes that come... I have the normal ways to keep rabbits cool in the summer, but was wondering?. Is there anything to be gained in terms of heat resistance if one sheared...

So, I am moving away from commercial pellets, especially in the summer.. And am looking at about every option to lower feeding costs for my colony.... But had a question I found a guy locally who has organic bales of grass that is 25-35% alfalfa for $5-6 each. ... Which is a great price...

So, My holland lop apparently found a basket of dirty clothes, and used it as a litter box before washing, and the stains were discovered once the shirts had been run through the wash and the dryer.... and likely set the stains... I have 4-5 dress shirts with yellow/ brown stains on them...
