All my rabbits get a handful of hay every day. When a expecting doe starts to make a nest with her hay I put the nest box in. Roxie usually starts around day 21. Margo usually more like day 27. At any rate I pretty much let them tell me when they want a nest. I don't know if its the best method...

We had our steer slaughtered yesterday. This guy was impressive! My wife actually timed him. He was here 27 minutes. Not a big steer, just over 800 pounds but still 27 minutes from the time they pulled into the field to driving away is impressive. And they did a very nice clean job too.

I've had 3 litters from each of my does now with pretty good luck. I've been weaning the kits @ 8 weeks. A week after the kits have been weaned I have the does bred again. I don't really have a good reason for doing it this way other than I thought it might be a good idea to wait a week after...
