I was into this project when the bottom fell out on the 2nd of April.
The next several days were spent getting my rabbits back on their feet.
They've been coming along quite nicely.....
I had 7 does kindle today.
They had a total of 73 kits and only lost one kit out of the group.
Here's the pics of the additional cages. The drop boards are the metal
sides out of commercial air conditioning units. They'll last a very long time.
For the time being, I've got bucks up there. So,I took 12" flashing and made
"Splash-Guards" between each pen. That water pipe on the right hand side
looks like it's all messed up.........That's a reflection off of the flashing.
I've got another project about two-thirds of the way done. I've always
wanted to try it. Whew....it's a lot of work and I've had to be extremely
precise through the whole project. I'll post it here in a day or two in the
D-I-Y portion of the site.
BTW: I'm still arguing with the State over their lackadaisical attitude concerning
the loss of my stock. I'm just about ready to call in some favors from
politicians I know personally. There's a couple that have told me if I
need a favor, give them a call and they'll see what they can do.
