Yesterday, our lovely little 3-yr old mini-rex doe, Mischief, passed away quite suddenly.

Earlier in the day, she had been at her cage door begging for pets, but when my DH went to pet her about noon, she was gone :(

We have no idea how or why, we are just sad.
 
I'm so sorry to hear this, HOWsMom. Sudden rabbit deaths are not uncommon, but they're always hard to take. I've always figured heart trouble or something of the sort, but the reality is we rarely find out what happened. At least you know she didn't have time to suffer much.

It's nice to "see" you again, but I wish it were for a happier reason. Say hi to Bug4H for me. Is she still into rabbits?
