OK, maybe lazy chef....
I have very little time/space/inspiration when it comes to cooking. This is what I've been doing and the family loves it every time.
Two rabbits in a dutch oven. Heat oven (we cook only with wood, so... whatever you would consider a moderately hot temp.). Pour a cup or two of milk over them. Not skim or other wimpy milk... whole is best. Salt and pepper and add a few cloves of garlic. Bake until done. It's nice and tender this way.
When we have time and patience, we pick the meat off the bones and make a broth out of the liquid, then make a gravy from that and have all of this over potatoes or rice. That's getting fancy, here. Make your own salad, I'm a lazy cook.
