These kind of surprised me. I just culled the buck cause he was long in body, long in shoulder, narrow in shoulder.... He just looked weird. Loves his personality and color, extremely dense coat, and some good rabbits in the background but he was not one of them. As his last litter I crossed him to my unpedigreed doe who isn't bad but narrow shoulders and her color is probably not anywhere to standard. I got some kits who aren't half bad. They don't have the messed up body of their sire. Mostly just the narrow shoulders and the castors are quite a range. I did have 3 runts one of which was definitely a peanut so I don't too terribly regret culling him before testing him out on more does.

Debated keeping one since they do carry chocolate but meh. Both castors are bucks and I don't like the attitude of the black. Spastic thing that started to get defensive on me during posing. I think if I ever get a little money on hand I'll start my mini rex over with a good broken chocolate and a chocolate carrier then maybe keep my black doe carrying chocolate and rew. Of course Amako is staying just because she's my first rabbit and she fosters more kits than she produces. As a bonus she also raised this with that litter and a few creme d'argent but my camera died before I got pics of them.

Interesting litter! Thanks for posting. You seem to like chocolates; have you ever gotten an amber Mini Rex? That would be really pretty...

I like the castor. The one castor kit I got is so sooty, I will probably cull him.

That castor is really nice! Cute kits, Akane.
