I don't think you could get an agouti (e.g. opal) from two self colored rabbits. They wouldn't carry the required genes.
Could they be tort? That's my first guess...

my vote is tort too. the inner ears look dark. cute!
Dont know how I missed the agouti bit. Thats what I get for trying to function with a cold. :roll:

I thought blue tort too as the most likely color, but they were very clear at the birth, identical to the lilac tort of this page http://www.gbfarm.org/rabbit/holland-co ... aded.shtml . And also now, they are very similar to lilac tort. But the odds are against this supposition. Moreover, in this same litter I have two blacks and a seal probably, so no chocolate based anywhere.
