In those pictures I can see black on his ear tips and it is genetically impossible for a chocolate (or blue) rabbit to produce black
I think he is a sable chinchilla = A_ B_ cchl_ D_ E_
The sable / light shaded gene (cchl_ ) creates a smuttier chinchilla than the true chinchilla / dark shaded gene (cchd_)

Yes, he does have black ear tips and whiskers. And yes, smutty is the perfect term. I'm used to a Chinchilla coloring, and thats what I was hoping for, but then he started getting these brown hairs. You're the best Dood!

I got the house bunny as part of my plan to bring home Angoras. I was met with a "no" on the Angoras, so got the house bunny. Tyrion totally captured my husbands heart and now I have three French Angoras. LOL!
