Hi! So two days ago(gestation day 32) my Netherland Dwarf had 3 kits: 2 born in the nest box, 1 not. However, they were all stillborn. This was her first litter and I know it's common for that to happen.

But today she started making another nest, with hay, and a little bit of fur that she's starting pulling out again. She's also keeps hanging out near it and sitting in it.

Is this normal? Should I be worried? :(

I don't think you need to worry. Either she's a little confused :? or she did not kindle the entire litter and some are still coming. By all means give her a box and nesting materials and see what happens.

NDs usually have small litters, don't they? I suspect she is just following her instincts and they say build nest. Sometimes their instincts are a little slow kicking in. She'll likely do better next time.
