So how long do you free feed your replacement stock.?

When I first started out, my rabbits were 8 weeks old and I was told to feed them 1 cup of feed a day so they wouldn't get fat. Later on I learned of a formula (pds of rabbits to ounces of feed, I think it was 1.5% or maybe 2% of body weight) and that worked out to the 1 cup I had been feeding. So once my rabbits hit 8 weeks I started to cut them back to the 1 cup per day per head. But now I wonder if I'm under feeding the rabbits that I want to grow out for replacements.

What do you do?

I judge each rabbits body condition and increase or decrease as needed.

Keep in mind that in the winter rabbits do need to eat more as they burn calories keeping warm so you will likely need to decrease once the temperature increases.

Usually 4 months.... I hesitate feeding them heavy any longer than that.
If they're having trouble making weight, you might consider not using them.

grumpy.
