So I weighed Fatty's 2 kits this afternoon:

6 days old 1.2lbs for the two... I will try to post a pic of one with a 4 day old kit from the does sister. They are furring out fast and really large--two week size...

I know--the picture tells the story. I am hoping one is female... I may keep the buck too; would he throw his growth in future litters??
 
He might throw that growth in the future. However whats happening right now is they are realizing their full genetic potential due to more than adequate food supply. They may even out a bit as older juniors and adults.
