So due to them being a week premature, I did not put a nest box in. This doe is a Mini Lop and this is her second litter. She's 1 year old. Excellent mother. Had 6 kits in her first litter.
She pulled no fur even and had 3 kits. Two were born dead. The other one was amazingly alive. But she chewed off its front legs at the elbow and its ears too. It lived about 2 minutes before I put it down.
My question is, why did she go this early? I've never had a doe go early or eat her kits.
