So I currently have 4 kits that are going to be freezer camp graduates soon. However I recently had to cull my other breeder doe due to her being hand shy and aggressive. Of the 4 kits 3 are does, 2 of them came from a litter in March, the 3rd is the only survivor; littermate was stillborn so she got momma all to herself, from an April litter.

When I weighed my rabbits mid June (on a digital scale in a tared out bowl), the 2 doelings from March were barely 5 to 5.25 lbs, while the doeling from April was 5.5 lbs. The only bucks I have are Amos, and his unnamed son; which is from the March litter.

My question is will the younger larger kit produce larger babies? Or Should I use one of the older doelings as they have better confirmation? The younger one has more of the cinnamon commercial body shape rather then the beveren semi arch shape.
