While I don't agree with everything in the rabbit section of this book, it makes for some interesting reading about how they were raised in the 19th century. Lots of other animal husbandry topics too, with the focus on housing and equipment.

Having raised rabbits colony style, in a large area a time or two.. I had to smile a little when thinking of the "harvesting procedure", .. when "free range" raising rabbits in several hundred acre enclosures... might not be what was actually being suggested-- but the thought was quite humorous..
