Chestnut to tort? is this okay?

I have a chestnut or castor velveteen lop doe. There is an opportunity for me to purchase a broken tort velveteen lop buck. Are these colors okay to breed together?

They would produce more castors, but any other colors would depend on what recessives they carry.
 
yes. They don't have too much concern about color. All combinations of those genes are in the color guide (castor, tort, orange and black). Castor is dominant, but since non extension is so common in vlops you might have a good chance at orange too
 
Thanks so much for the replys. Castor is the color I would prefer to get and broken castor would be awesome. Looks like I will be adding another bunny to colony.
