I have seen several post on here about finding cages. So I thought to share these little beauties with yall.

Grow out cage: Cost= $12.50

Doe breeding cage: Cost= $34.50 (Should not be hung will need supports. About 3. Any cage over 3' is going to need them.)

Materials:
From Lowes:
1x1 16ga welded wire
1/2x1 ?ga welded wire (wire matches the same wire flooring that come in the per made cages from tractor supply and orschelns  )
From Orscheln:
Little Giants j-clips

Now these are not the best of the best in cages but they work good and can be made on a budget. For all the new members that this is their first trip down the rabbit hole.

Hope this is helpful,
Cathy

I started making them a few months back and selling them on craigsist. Getting $25 for the grow outs and $65 for the breeding cages. Have even sold some to chicken breeders as brood pens. Making more $$ in supplies then in rabbits at the moment.
