My buck, Big Guy.. Has been running around his cage like a wild man lately. He'll throw his j feeder around the cage, stamp then bust around the cage. I have a hay holder in there as well.. Well yesterday he got stuck in it! I literally had to pull him out of it by his scruff.
What the heck? He's been scent marking everything with the gland under his chin to... and when i mean everything.. i mean every friggen INCH of his cage is marked.
I have 4 does... 3 of which are tending to litters (2 litters are 4 weeks old, the last will be 1 week old tomorrow) and a doe who is not bred yet.
Is he smelling all the girls then and its driving him nuts?
what is going on here? He's usually super calm and sweet. but right now he's crazy!
