I got a new rabbit today and was surprised by her blue eyes. I have heard the Vienna gene causes this but thought it also came along with white markings. She does not have any white. I planned on breeding her to my black otter rex buck. Would I expect to see blue eyes or white markings in her kits?

Sometimes you white markings, and blue (or partially blue) eyes. Sometimes just white markings. Sometimes just blue eyes. And sometimes you get no markings or eye differences at all, but it can still have the Vienna gene (and throw blue eyed, white marked kits). It's mostly random in how the Vienna gene chooses to show itself, but about 50% of the litter, on average, will have the gene, and have a chance for blue eye(s)
