First off, I just want to say you've all been great testers. I'm so impressed at how fast you've reported issues, and helped to diagnose and sort them out. It's been exactly what I hoped for live testing of our new bridge. Thank you so much!

Now, on to business...

Miss M, I had to delete your blog, and recreate it. It was the only way that I could remove my name as the blog owner, since you registered it while experiencing yesterday's bug. You'll be able to login to it just the same, and do whatever you like, but you will need to set any options or settings again. It will be right back to the default settings.

Everyone else, I've thinned out the membership of the blogs, so currently you're only associated with your own blog and the central dashboard. This is more for the purposes of testing than for functionality. Next point will cover that.

Question: "I can see other people's dashboards! Help?"

Answer: This is perfectly normal. Each user blog is basically autonomous. What you will notice is, on blogs that aren't yours which you're a member of, your role will be that of "Subscriber" not "Administrator". So you can see their dashboard, but only the portion of it where you can edit your profile, or change which of "My Sites" you're visiting.

Every time you leave a comment on someone else's blog, you will be added to that blog as a subscriber. That's why you have limited access to their dash. Nothing to worry about, and generally there's no need to visit their dashboard at all.

Question: "I'm still seeing myself as MidnightCoder, not my own name. WTF?"

Answer: Step 1. Manually logout of the blogs and the forum. Log back in. Problem should be gone. Step 2. If problem persists please report it in this thread right away.

Question: "When will the central blog start showing the list of all blogs and other useful stuff?"

Answer: Just as soon as I get to it. Probably today, but no promises. Visiting blogs/ will (once I finish it) show the latest blogs, the latest posts from all blogs, and the latest comments from all blogs. It will serve as a nexus for seeing what's new on the RabbitTalk Blogs.

Question: "I'm having a problem with [somethemename] theme. What should I do?"

Answer: Please add the name of the theme to the themes topic in this forum, if it's not already mentioned. A brief summary of what the problem is would help too. I won't have time to edit every broken theme that turns up, chances are they will just be removed and new themes added in their place. There's thousands of free WordPress themes we can use, but not all have been updated by their authors to work with WordPress 3 yet.

Question: "I found a theme for WordPress on [somesite] and would really like to use it, is that possible?"

Answer: Yes! Probably... Just post about it somewhere in this forum, a new topic is fine, and I'll try to add it for you. Free themes only. I don't want to start using illicit copies of paid themes here. Adding new themes is of course at our discretion, but we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Question: "I still have more questions!"

Answer: Great, just post them here. I'm happy to help you get started. Please try to limit help requests by PM to things you think are serious bugs or potential security issues. It's better to use the forum so that other users can see the Q&A, and maybe sort their own issues out themselves.

I'll post more as time permits. Have fun with them, we're nearly out of the testing phase.

Is it ok if we fix the comments on our blogs that were incorrectly attributed?

Oh, I meant to add that. Yeah, just edit or delete them.

Oooooooh... I'm seeing all sorts of options I didn't have yesterday. I was wondering where you had to go to get themes and customize things. I didn't have any of that before... I thought I was just way behind everybody else!

Question: I don't suppose I could change it to have capital letters -- "Miss M" instead of "miss m"? Not sure why it registered that way, since I have capitals in RabbitTalk. I know it's just a small thing, but it's important to me.

The lower case username is a peculiarity of WordPress, BUT, there is a way to do this. In the left menu of your dashboard go to Users -> Your Profile, edit the NickName field however you like, and then select "Display Name Publicly As..." and change it to your new name.

BTW, it's me who should be apologizing, for letting people register when a bug that significant was in play.

I'm swamped with work, but I'll open this up to everyone just as soon as I can. It looks like we're revising the bridge plugin a bit too, so I might need some final testing done, just cursory clicking around, making sure it's logging you in properly, etc.

I think we've nailed it this time, but please report anything unusual or broken.

It'd be a huge help to me if you guys could test the basic functions again. Making a post, a page, even signing up for a second blog (it can be deleted later).

Thanks all. I'll see about adding to our selection of themes shortly, and all going well make the blogs public.

Almost 100 new themes have been added, bringing out total to 140 available themes.

If you hit one that's buggy, please just go on to another. The amount of time that would be required for me to go through and test or edit each is prohibitive.

Note that theme previews don't always work. Activating a theme is the only way to really test them.
