I have a buck that is about 1 1/2 years old Nz/Cali. He has a couple bald spots on his back no scabs, dandruff I haven't seen any sign of mites. I was thinking maybe he was injured prior to me getting him (his eye had been scratched before I got him). Now I have 1 of his daughters that's 6 months old and she also has a couple random bald spots about the size of nickle. She has not been injured again no scabs, dandruff. I'm wondering what I'm missing? I was a dog groomer for 15 years so I am familiar with all sorts of skin/mite issues (in dogs). I kept another doe from that same litter she does not have any bald spots. Any Ideas? :hmm:

fur plucking? some rabbits do that.
:yeahthat:

Or maybe the Astrex gene is popping up in your heard...? I've seen a few posts of kits with the astrex gene losing patches of fur (sometimes it grows back, sometimes it doesn't).

Good luck though!
