Hello everyone!!
I went on vacation recently--I took my first Caribbean cruise ever on Carnival. It was lovely! My friend Alex and I drove to Charleston, SC to catch the boat, dropping off a trio of NZRs to Marinea along the way. The cruise was lovely--and not what I thought? I loved how ocean water was cobalt blue. And I was able to spend a few hours at the resort Atlantis, in Nassau. That was a bucket list item. I went swimming in the pristine waters of Lucaya, by Freeport. I met a lot of really nice people on the boat--many blue collar workers like me who were cruising for the first time. Paying for the trip back in February was a treat--the delayed satisfaction of vacationing six months later and not worrying about payment was nice. The husband had to run the household and kids solo for ten days while I was gone and he was awfully relieved to see me home!!
