Austrian Winter peas?

Hi,

I actually had to google that :roll: :D , but they look just like the peas they plant (among other stuff like mustard, sunflowers, and blue tansy...) as green manure in autumn, that's where I got it.

They like the pea plants, I fed quite a lot of that and the other stuff (not much mustard) almost till cristmas.

What I didn't try is making hay from harvested plants, but I read that the buns like it.
 
I haven't found anything on feeding it to rabbits but its pretty common 'green manure' to til under or a simple crop to hay out. been interested to try some of it here.
 
I'm thinking about trying to plant some this fall. Some of the sites I've been reading on say they are hardy down to 10F. We hardly ever get that cold. So, unless we have a prolonged cold snap, I may could keep them all winter.
