I am trying like heck to attach a pic into a post-- but 1) despite what I read in another area, the picture is not being resized, I guess, and 2) your tutorial and my screen don't match!!! C'mon, I'm an old woman with no computer skills!!!

Ha, Terry, I guess MidnightCoder figured if I could do it, anyone could. And I'm a lot older than you! :D

You use "full editor" mode. Click on browse and find the picture in your files. Click on Add the file and once it has done that you click on Place inline.

You can use the preview to see if it works.

I don't know about the automatic resizing because I tend to crop my pictures and resize them beforehand, using photoshop.

If this doesn't work, you might want to send MC a PM. He's sleeping right now (he works weird hours) but he would get back to you later.

i use Photobucket. Upload my photos through that and then copy/paste the image (bottom box that comes up when you hover over the picture).

Terry, I use Picasa on my computer to track/organize my photos. It does have a decent basic editor in it. Makes it easy to crop pictures, brighten, darken, etc. Just remember to rightclick on the image when you're done and "save"...if you don't do that it only changes the picture IN PICASA and the original is the one on the computer. When you "save" it copies the original picture to another folder so you never lose that original image in case you want to go back to it for some reason.

I also use Photobucket like Ladysown does. Photobucket has a really nice resizing/editing program inside it. Photobucket is free, or you can pay $12? a year to get the upgraded version which basically lets you upload HUGE images.

I use Irfanview as a free editor. I really like it! :)

(Unless I really want to do some serious messing around with a picture... then I use GIMP -- like a free Photoshop.)

I use Photobucket to store images for ebay.
